Love and Gratitude by Post Graduate Students of His University

Student life in His University is undoubtedly the most cherished time for these young gentlemen ready to step out into the world and put His words into practice. However it is not easy to part from this Home away from Home, the place where they came into such close proximity with their Divine Mother, some of them for the last seventeen years.
Passing out students of MSc, MA, MBA and MPhil offered their gratitude to Bhagawan on the evening of 18 Mar 2012 with a variety programme including talks, songs, instrumentals, poetry and dances. The only achievement that the students strive for, they said, is to see a smile on their Master’s face and commenced the programme with that very objective. read more »

Anantapur students offer gratitude to their Founder Chancellor

Outgoing students of Under Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Ed and M Phil of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam to seek blessings of Bhagawan before their final exams.
“How can it be said that Bhagawan’s Darshan is history when He wakes us up every morning as the Sun, caresses us as the Breeze and provides fragrance as the Flower”, questioned a student at the start of the 45 minute presentation to their ever near, ever dear and ever here Lord. The programme consisted of songs interspersed with commentary, poems , experiences and expressions of gratitude to Bhagawan.The rendering was in English, Hindi and Telugu.Though gratitude was the underlying theme of the programme, the students also displayed their deep understanding and faith in Bhagawan with some inspirational wisdom. read more »

Adilabad Parthi Yatra 2012

Over 1500 devotees from Adilabad arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam on 24th Feb. They held a massive procession this evening featuring folk dances, ritual rallies and effervescent fireworks throwing the temple town into a mood of gaiety and celebration.
On the evening of 25th, the pilgrims provided a unique vaudevillian show in Sai Kulwant Hall today including Dances, Burra Katha, Hari Katha, Poetry, Talks, Video Clippings and Songs. A small girl anthropomorphising Adilabad started the programme with a talk of gratitude followed by a dance to the tunes of ‘Sampoorna Avataram‘. read more »

Underlying the diverse Aboriginal beliefs of Australia is the Lore of spiritual Oneness, which has been passed on through stories, songs, dance and art for over 40,000 years. The Light of Life, the Breath of Love – the essence of the Creator is alive in everything. Mother Earth, considered the teaching place, is where we come back again and again to learn all Truth and all Knowledge. Through our interactions with her land, her people, her flora and fauna, we are each given the opportunity to absorb essences that will awaken our Soul to fulfill our bond to remember the Creator and obey the fine regulations of Creation, so that we may return to the Absolute. A convention for the all India Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Group III and Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Alumni was held in Prasanthi Nilayam on the 7th and 8th of Jan 2012. Over two thousand Balvikas Children, Alumni and Gurus from across India assembled here for the meet. The programme commenced on 7th morning at 1030hrs at Poornachandra Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Keki Mistry, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Maharashtra. He was accompanied on the stage by Sri S. V. Giri, Sri Sanjay Sahani and Sri Nimish Pandya. Sri R J Ratnakar was also present at the function. read more »

Odisha Parthi Yatra, a journey of Love and Gratitude

Around two thousand Youth and a large number of devotees from the state of Odisha, arrived on a three day pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam on 26th Dec 2011. Nagar Sankirtan, Service activities and Spiritual talks were held everyday.
On the morning of 27th, Lord Jagannath of Puri along with His brother Balabhadra and sister Subadra, (Lord Krishna, Balarama and Subadra) came out in a regal procession this morning, adorning a huge chariot, blessing thousands of devotees in Puttaparthi, outside the Ashram. read more »
