Grand Culmination To Vishu – Kerala New Year…

Back in Kerala there is a prevalent custom in the auspicious Vishu morning, a customary tradition of Vishukkaineettam, a symbolic monetary gift from the elders to the youngsters, within a family.

Today, when, a minuscule of Kerala is celebrating Vishu in the immediate Divine OmniPresence of Beloved Bhagawan, there is only one elder comes in reckoning and that is Beloved Bhagawan, Who Is The Ageless, Infinite One in a finite form. …And the Vishukkaineettam today is undoubtedly His bounteous grace, love unlimited, that was clearly felt in the auspicious morning. After a wonderfully woven morning presenting a most ‘fantabulous’ cultural ‘exhibition’, in the evening Kerala signed off in style, presenting a musical bouquet par excellence at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. The singer Kum. Abhirami Ajai from Kerala is an upcoming artiste who made her effective presence in playback singing, apart from many accolades and awards from various quarters. Quite popular among the Sai fraternity, Abhirami already had her twin stints in Prasanthi Nilayam, apart from singing at Trayee Brindavan in Bengaluru, Dharmakshetra in Mumbai and Shivam in Hyderabad.

The session this evening commenced with Bhagawan’s Divine discourse, played on the public address system. Bhagawan spoke on the impermanence of the so called wealth, of money, relations and other possessions. Namasmarana, singing the glory of God is the panacea for all maladies, be it individual, societal or nations or beyond, exhorted Bhagawan, assuring the reward of bliss therefrom.

Next in was an award presentation for the winners of annual essay writing competitions – 2018, held at three distinct levels under the auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations – Kerala. The winners are:  Kum. Diya D., St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Olavakkod, Palakkad, Kum. Tulasi Soman, Palora Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode, Kum. Geethu L. from Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta for the three categories of High School, Higher Secondary and College levels. The subjects given were You are the master of your habits, Character is life power, My idea of an ideal person for the three levels respectively. An estimated 37000 students from over 1200 institutions had enrolled for the competition on value based themes.

An online EHV magazine Sri Sathya Sai Jyothirgamaya… was next placed at His Lotus Feet, launching the same, by Member Trustee, SSSCT, Sri RJ Ratnakar Garu.

Singing through the session next, Abhirami presented some beautiful gems singing unto, as the singer would often comment, HIM in hearts many. Beginning with invoking Lord Ganesha, she continued with Karunamayi Rupa Sai Vande…, Ammey Easwarambey…, Pattu Paduma Krishna, Maya Gopalabala…, Sundaram Sundaram Thava Darshanam Ati Sundaram…, Jo Tum Todo Piya… a meera bhajan, a Sai bhajan medley to conclude with a special prayer singing Darshan Deejo… The talented artiste was a perfect picture of ‘being His flute’, in His Hands…wherein He…He…He alone sang through… A session filled with irresistibly passionate devotion, touching the Sai heart in one and all. Her final number was a passionate plea beseeching for His darshan, serenading Him with Darshan Deejo… doing a Meera in the now.

This evening Abhirami was accompanied by Sarvasree Guruprasad on Keyboard, Sai Raghav on Flute and Harmonium, Sai Dutt on Mridangam and Jagdish Kanadia on Tabla.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
