Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu
Sunday, June 23, 2013
August 31, 2008 had earned a date with Divinity, ushering in Oneness Of entire Creation…It was on this day, Beloved Bhagawan revised the Mantra for Universal Peace, Lokah Samastha…into ‘Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu’, birthing The Universal Maha Mantra For Cosmic Peace and Harmony…Uttering the Holy Mantra, Bhagawan said…it is not one world, and there is no individual feeling, we should encompass all the worlds. As the universal peace formula originated from Bhagawan, to a selected assembly of His ‘Properties’, time stood still watching the epochal and profound moment, the birth of a Maha Mantra, the purport of which humanity is still to decipher even after four long years…Uttering the Maha Mantra Bhagawan gestured, as if embracing whole of His creation, asking His boys to repeat the Maha Mantra…and Samastha Lokah reverberated the holy precincts of Prasanthi Nilayam for the first time…Further, Bhagawan advised the boys to begin chanting the Maha Mantra from the next Thursday, ie., September 4, 2008. Today, when the world is reeling under pressure, when the very fabric of Dharma in society is threatened, let’s revisit the momentous happening, re-pledging our commitments to our Beloved Bhagawan, embracing the Universal…Cosmic feeling of Oneness, praying and resolving for a new world order as willed by our Beloved Mother Sai…Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu…May All Beings in all the worlds be happy and peaceful…a poem from Sri Jullie Chaudhuri… read more »

Meerabai with her unparalleled devotion sung melodiously, beseeching darshan of Lord Supreme, Bhagawan Sri Krishna…Living in the age of Lord Of All Lords, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, Whose unparalleled love humanity has been blessed to receive, should we not, each one of us living in this age, strive to become a Meera crying out for Beloved Mother Sai’s darshan? What is the toll of the pangs of separation for a devotee and how much a devoted heart could feel for the ‘missing’ Beloved Presence?…a poetic expression from Sri Jullie Chaudhuri. read more »

Vibhuti does it!
Thursday, June 20, 2013
The Bible speaks about faith and greater faith. Quoting Jesus, It says, “… if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20) This faith is not the realm of the ordinary, though it is not reserved exclusively for the explicitly ecclesiastical ones. Interestingly, at times one could see absolute, unqualified faith mushrooming in unexpected quarters. Read on such a story illustrating a little lad’s unflinching faith, new-found love for Bhagawan’s Vibhuti…written by Hari Prasanna, extracted from Sanathana Sarathi. read more »

Thus Spake Sai…
Friday, June 14, 2013
Our puzzled mind can be compared to a cluttered closet housing sundry thoughts, often confusing our being. How often do we hope and pray for a fresh waft, a wise piece of counselling, that helps to clear the debris allowing us to fly free. Here comes a “Wisdom Talk” as spelled out by none other than Bhagawan Himself, extracted from the notebook of a Srilankan, published in Sanathana Sarathi, September 1974. read more »

How The Bhagavad Gita was administered…?
Thursday, June 13, 2013
Living in the physical proximity of the Lord, once a devotee grew curious about some of His stupendous doings in His previous Avatar, as to how Lord Krishna was able to deliver the Bhagavad Gita amidst the war cries in the Kurukshetra battlefield. When this question was posed to Bhagawan, instead of answering straightaway, He chose to clear the clouds of doubts in the minds of His devotee in His own unique, inimitable style…a unique incident from His Story, from the fifties…Read on… read more »

The Goal Of All Yagnas….
Tuesday, June 11, 2013
Trayee Brindavan had always been a home away from ‘Home’ for Beloved Bhagawan…and the Trayee sessions in Brindavan used to be one of the most heavenly experiences with Him… The combine of Bhagawan with His students would always remind one of the intimacy and closeness gopikas and gopalas enjoyed with Lord Krishna in the Dwapara and what the ‘vanaras’ enjoyed with Lord Rama in the Treta… Confined within the four walls of the Trayee, The Lord often assumed His many varied faces, throwing glimpses from God’s mysterious Divine Chamber… helping, raising, elevating many of His chosen devotees, all in His most inimitable style…Sathya Sai Style…Dr T Ravi Kumar, Associate Professor, Dept Of Chemistry, Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL writes about one such interesting, intimate session in Trayee…Dr Ravi Kumar is also the Warden of the Brindavan Hostel… read more »
