Guru Purnima Eve…

21 July 2013, Guru Purnima eve,  featured two speeches and a musical offering by the students of  College Of Nursing, SSSIHMS, Whitefield, Bangalore this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The programme commenced after 20 mts. of Rudram chanting, at 1650 hrs., with an introductory speech by Sri KM Ganesh, Doctoral Research Scholar, Dept Of Chemistry, SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam. Dwelling about Guru…Sadhguru and the greater import, Ganesh introduced the speakers for the session followed by the programme to follow.

Speaking first, Sri Amaya Deshpande, Doctoral Research Scholar, Dept Of Management Studies, SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam gave an oral demonstration of how one should follow His Footprints to be a Sathya Sai Student.

Beginning with a flashback reminiscence from a Kodai evening with Bhagawan, the speaker said quoting Bhagawan, the most rarest phenomenon in this world is TO KNOW…TO LOVE and TO SERVE THE LORD WALKING THE EARTH…

Dwelling on the greater import of the epochal 1st Bhajan ever sung by Bhagawan Manasa Bhajare… Amaya said, quoting Bhagawan, that the real Pada Puja IS TO WALK THE FOOTPRINTS OF THE LORD THAT HE LEFT FOR EVERYONE TO TREAD.

To walk that Path one needs to have intensity and consistency, said Amaya reminding that His real students are the ones who choose to walk His path by following His teachings and not the ones who studies in the Sathya Sai Institute.  Thus everyone stands with a chance to be a Sathya Sai Student.

Continuing with the flow, enthralling the audience, the speaker narrated a beautiful dream he had on the eve of Ashadi 2011. Pining from his deep heart, hurt by His physical disappearance, and wondering about the look and feel of the would be ‘Samadhi Mandir’, he saw himself placed in a jampacked Sai Kulwant Hall anticipating  His Darshan, as he was aware that Bhagawan Has Returned. Even as he kept wondering as to what have we done…where will He sit as ‘The Seat Of the Divine Has Been Converted Into His Samadhi”, Bhagawan emerged from the Interview Room, walking straight and wishing him…telling that “I have come for you…”  “I have not gone anywhere…”

Sri Amaya concluded his inspiring rhetoric with an anecodote from the Bhagavatha reminding the audience that the Footprints Left By Bhagawan, His innumerable Divine Discourses and Messages would help everyone to reach unto HIM!

The next speaker Sri Manoj Kotekar, member, SSSNCE, Sri Sathya Sai National Council For Education, spoke of the progress and achievements made in the field of Sathya Sai Education being pioneered by Institute Of Sathya Sai Education under the auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Seve Organisationa, India.

This was followed by a bouquet of songs by the students from the College Of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, SSSIHMS, Whitefield, Bangalore on the theme “Guru Sadhguru Jagadguru”.

Bhajans by the nursing students continued and ended with Sunday Special with Bhagawan singing “Prema Muditha Manasey Kaho…”

Mangala Arathi was offered at 1845 hrs.
