SSSCT Conferred with Special Consultative Status by the UN

Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam has been conferred with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations recently. Sairam and greetings from Prasanthi Nilayam on this most auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami!

With the blessings of Bhagawan, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has been granted a “Special Consultative Status” by the UN – ECOSOC (United Nations – Economic and Social Council) in recognition of its humanitarian works.

The Special Consultative Status conferred on the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust enables it to actively engage with ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, as well as with the United Nations Secretariat, programmes and agencies in several ways. The Trust can also make representations to the United Nations in fields where the Trust has contributed over the past many decades and continues to be active in. For us, this is a prestigious opportunity given by Bhagawan, to take HIS universal message of Love & Service to millions around the world.

Needless to say, this is a rare privilege for all of us to serve and be part of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s noble mission. It also places on us a special responsibility to ensure that Bhagawan’s soothing message of Love reaches every pining heart.

The current medical emergency caused by the Corona pandemic has affected the social fabric to a great extent. The message of Bhagawan is more relevant than ever at these times providing solace and comfort to the entire humanity.

Prasanthi Nilayam is home to every devotee, who is longing to visit and connect to our beloved Bhagawan.
