Grand Culmination To Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna…

The seven-day long holy ritual Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna came to a grand culmination with the offering of Maha Poornahuthi this holy Vijaya Dasami morning in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The morning’s proceedings commenced at 0650 hrs at the Poornachandra Auditorium and came to a temporary halt at 0900 hrs, when the officiating priests proceeded for symbolic bath before the Poornahuthi. Already brimming with holistic vibrations, Bhagawan’s Divine discourse next made it full and fulfilled, raining wisdom on the devout assembly.

With a packed audience watching the proceedings, with The Yajna Purusha gracing the occasion in His ineffable OmniPresence, the Maha Poornahuthi was offered into the sacred Yajna  shortly after 0930 hrs. in the backdrop of full-throated Vedic incantations, marking the grand culmination of the sacred Yajna.

The blessed venue had for many years adorned the beautiful Divine Form Of The Yajna Purusha in His physical, clad in burning red, presiding over the Yajna on many such Vijaya Dasami occasions.

Devoted assembly got an additional whiff of grace, in the form of prokshanam, sprinkling of the ‘sanctified Yajna water’, partaking the blessings. Maha Mangala Arati marked the culmination of the morning proceedings.

The Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna had its initiation in the early sixties at the ‘direct’ instance of Bhagawan, and ever since has been a regular Prasanthi festivity. The Yajna is aimed at Universal Peace & Harmony.

Holy Vijaya Dasami has a rare tale of enhanced sanctity of infinite proportions, as this was the very day Bhagawan in His previous Avatar at Shirdi chose to do His ‘Seemolanghan’…withdrawal of His earthly Avataric form.
