Vandeham Gananayakam… sings Prasanthi in unison…

Today marks holy Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival with infinite potencies, symbolising the auspicious Advent of Lord Ganesha, the Primal Lord as per the sacred Hindu tradition. The festivity falls on the fourth day, Chaturthi, in the Shukla Paksha, the bright half, of the Hindu month of Bhadrapada, coinciding with Chaitra star. In Prasanthi Nilayam, the occasion earns the repute of a Mahotsavam, grand festivity, with Bhagawan inculcating deep-rooted values in His students and devotees in general, on the supreme significance of Lord Ganesha.

This morning in Prasanthi Nilayam the festivity commenced on an auspicious note offering sacred Vedic hymns in adoration of The Primal Lord. Students of SSSIHL continued the solemn touch with the percussion band playing short stint first, before a string of devotionals from the music band.

Commencing with salutations to The Lord serenading with Ganashtakam“Eka Dantam Mahakayam… Vandeham Gananayakam…”, the session flowed on with ‘Maha Ganapatim’…, Modakashtakam, a dance presentation to the tune of “Sri VighnaRajam Bhaje… (“ that concluded with Bhagawan’s ‘own’ composition, “Sree Ganesha Sivuni Kumara…”. Intertwining commentary on the greater significance of this day, vividly illustrating the potential attritbutes of the attribute-less Divine added lustre to the auspiciousness of the glorious morning.

Students from SSSIHL, higher secondary along with tiny tots from Bhagawan’s Primary School made a bee-line next to the Sanctum Sanctorum presenting their ‘hand-work’ of ‘aesthetic’ devotion at His Divine Lotus Feet.

Bhagawan, over the decades, has educated His students and the devotees at large of the infinite potencies and the significance of Lord Ganesha and the festivity attached to Him. In the coming 2-days Bhagawan’s educational institutions will witness an unmatched Ganesha fervour with the students fraternity raising its benchmark of creativity, coupled with unsullied devotion. On the third day of the festivity in Prasanthi Nilayam scores of Ganeshas will ‘beat a retreat’ from the immediate Divine OmniPresence, marching for holy immersion.

In the evening today, Controller Of Examinations Sri Sanjay Sahni addressed the devotees speaking on Ganesha Principle. Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed next.
