Kalasha Stapana performed ahead of Dasara Saptaha Yajna…

Kalasha Sthapana, marking the initiation of nine day Devi Navarathri festival was performed in the bhajan hall in sacrosanct Prasanthi Nilayam this morning marked by traditional rituals accompanied by Veda chanting.

The Kalasha was initially sanctified at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Sai Kulwant Hall before carrying to the bhajan hall for due rituals followed by subsequent installation. Marking the commencement of the week-long Dasara Jnana Saptaha Yajna the Kalasha will be taken on a procession to the venue at Poornachandra Auditorium on the 1st October morning.  The week-long long Dasara Jnana Saptaha Yajna will commences on 1st October to culminate on auspicious Vijaya Dashami with Maha Purnahuthi. This morning after the installation, special Kumkumarchana was offered to the sanctified Kalasha representing Mother Divine.
