Auspicious Maha Shivarathri…

Filling hearts many to the brim, filling and fulfilling one and all, when auspicious Maha Shivarathri arrived this morning, Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam responded resonating with holy hymns and devotionals this morning in the immediate Divine OmniPresence.
The session commenced at 0820 hrs with University percussionists taking over, Nadaswaram and Panchavadyam band, playing 10 minutes apiece, cleaning and clearing the air, saturating the same with holistic vibrations. Devotional numbers followed include Bilva Stotram, a scintillating Carnatic number, Shiva Shiva Shiva GanaNatha…, Shambho Mahadeva Deva…, Lingashtakam to name a few.
As bhajans commenced, student fraternity made a beeline to the Sanctum Sanctorum offering handmade greetings to The Lord on the occasion. Prasadam was distributed to the packed assembly and the session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
