Balavikas Convention – III Session…

As the 3rd session of the ongoing 9th National Balavikas Convention got into action this evening, twelve different states came forwards sharing honours with their presence’ in the form of varied offerings in His immediate Divine OmniPresence in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Commenced with a Swarna Jayanti Song by the twin states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the session flowed on with the presentation of the revamped National Balvikas website, release of a Coffee Table Book entitled “Golden Memories Of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas”, speeches by two of the alumni, Achievement Award presentation, Felicitation of the parents of Veer Vijayanand Naik, a BV alumnus of Karnataka, who was martyred on the 9th July 2018 during a BSF operation in one of the naxal strongholds of the state, a Himachali traditional dance offering, ‘Nati’ to end with a Bhajan Medley jointly presented by West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Addressing first, BV alumnus from Mumbai Sri Artreya Raghavan spoke on the unveiling facets of personality that was unknown to him during his journey through Balvikas. Balvikas is a foundation for life joining in the love of God, reflected the young speaker. Speaking next, Ms Saiesha Sinha from Uttar Pradesh spelt out the essential difference between a Balavikas student and the rest of the lot that being the mentality or attitude. At 13 he or she, with Balavikas training, comes out to face the world confidently, summed the soft-spoken girl from UP.

Bhajans by the BalAvikas continued and the session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
