Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha – Day-2

Let me become a channel of Your Love… is the right prayer at all situations, be it a life-threatening situation or simple daily, mundane fractions that everyone faces almost everyday, said Dr. Anand Kumar Krishnamoorthy from the Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL this evening addressing the concourse of devotees on the 2nd evening of the ongoing Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha here, in Prasanthi Nilayam. The evening also featured a brief talk on the significance of the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna, Bhagawan’s Divine discourse and a musical offering by the Brindavan students.

Commencing the proceedings this evening, Dr. Ananda Kumar Krishnamoorthy spoke on the subject ‘Compassionate Divine Mother’ interspersing his speech with some beautiful experiences of His Divine Love. Where the family of 6 including his parents and two sisters were stretching it hard to make the ends meet, where his younger sister was ready to join the Anantapur Campus, he had a fervent prayer during the Dasara celebrations in 1998 to Bhagawan to take care of his meagre hostel fee to free his parents from the ‘extra burden’ of paying for two children. With prayers in his heart, he did a Sai Satcharita parayana for a week seeking Divine Mother’s mercy and love. On the 9th day, when he was about to leave home on vacation, he got a receipt in an yellow cover, acknowledging the payment of his semester hostel fee. …And this story of Divine Love continued throughout his hostel stay, acknowledged a grateful Ananda Kumar. His speec was centred around the famous bhajan couplet in Hindi, …Ek Khadam Aage, Dho Khadam Peechey…  meaning one step forward and two steps backward… Elaborating on the same the speaker meandered into the beauty of His incomparable love, decorating his evening story with some of the beautiful Sai experiences.

The importance of Sri Rudra Homam and the significance was then explained elaborately by one of the research scholars from the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus as part of the 7-day talk on the inner significance of Prasanthi Dasara celebrations.

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse next was followed by a scintillating musical offering by the Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
