Twin Beauties of Suvarna Rathotsavam and Jhoola Mahotsavam coupled with a Carnatic offering marked the glittering 92nd Birthday evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam today.
He gave HimSelf to humanity…thus to the creation at large, holding back nothing. On this 23rd day of November when the Sai fraternity the world over is celebrating His Divine Advent, after a glittering morning of birthday glories, in the evening, Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed twin beauties of Suvarna Rathothsvam, Golden Chariot Procession followed by Jhoola Mahotsavam.
The symbolic Golden Chariot Procession commenced at 1700 hrs from the Ganesha, carrying the Lord in His OmniPresent form, and went for a complete round of Ashram to enter the Mandir precincts at 1735 hrs. Mangala Arathi was offered to The Lord on the chariot upon entering Yajur Mandiram.
In the specially lit up twilight, what followed next was the heavenly beauty of Jhoola Mahotsavam with Lord on the jhoola, swinging to the melodic tunes of accomplished carnatic vocalist Abhishek Raghuram. Singing paeans to the Lord, Abhishek sang for the next one hour, presenting an enthralling musical evening, well aided by mesmerising notes coupled with serpentine twists. Abhishek concluded singing Sri Ramachandra Kripalu Bhaja Mana… This evening he was accompanied by Sarvasree HN Bhaskar on violin, T. Bhavaniprasad on Veena, Arjun Kumar on Mrudangam and Adamya on Thal.
Through the unique tutelage of his illustrious grandfather Palghat Raghu, well renowned Mridangam maestro, Abhishek grew from a child prodigy to fine tune his skills to become an accomplished name in Carnatic music. Abhishek had the rare good fortune of singing for Bhagawan twice earlier in Prasanthi Nilayam during the 85th and 87th Birthday celebrations.
Bhajans continued and the grand evening session concluded with Mangala Arathi offering to Bhagawan.
