When the InExplicable,The UnFathomable, The InComprehensible… decided to walk unto Planet Earth, He had His set agenda and in that agenda was a defined date, 20th October 1940, that earned a date with Divinity. It was on this day, over 76 years ago, Bhagawan chose to announce His Avataric Declaration.
Today, after a soulful, melodic morning session, the evening session featured twin talk by two of the alumni, a video presentation, two group songs to end with musical offering by an alumna.
The speakers for the evening were Ms Mallika Chandrasekhar and Ms Indumati, both former students at the Anantapur Campus of SSSIHL.
Addressing first, Ms Mallika Chandrasekhar chose to speak on the profundity called Sri Sathya Sai, narrating her own experience as a tiny tot, securing an out-of-turn seat at Bhagawan’s Primary School. Profusely thanking Bhagawan for His all-round protection and guidance, Ms Mallika said, now after thirty years when she looks back she understands that her life has been transformed for good at the Hands of Beloved Mother Sai, watching Him closely during those golden years.
The second speaker, Ms Indumati, Chief Dietician at SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, delved on the Unique Graciousness called Sri Sathya Sai, recalling some of the priceless moments at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet, proving how He became the Centre-Pillar of her life. Being in the ‘service’ industry at SSSIHMS, the speaker also shared as to how Bhagawan trained them as students on the importance of service, one of the foremost component of the Sai System. Ms Indumati concluded repeating a prayer of absolute surrender, compiled by Bhagawan HimSelf, repeated after by the alumni.
A documentary on the significance of Avatar Declaration Day, illustrating the unique Sai Path that fulfils man’s spiritual journey was the next item, before twin group songs by the alumni.
The final offering was a musical offering by Ms Chitralee Goswami, an alumna of ATP campus of SSSIHL. Accomplished with a compelling rich voice suffused with unmatched devotional passion, Ms Chitralee sang through the next over 50 minutes presenting a string of devotionals that ended with an inciting Sufi number.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
