Sathyam Jnanam Anantam Sai…

If Vidya Vahini is aimed at disseminating ‘Vidya’, the real Vidya or knowledge that one ought to attain is the Atma Vidya, the knowledge of one’s True Self. Taking a cue from this profound ancient truth, reiterated time and again by Beloved Bhagawan, students of Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, Prasanthi Nilayam, presented a spiritually elevating, soul-stirring Musical Dance Drama – “Sathyam Jnanam Anantam Sai” this evening here, in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme was organised as part of the ongoing Vidya Vahini celebrations.

Fashioning Adi Shankaracharya and his four major disciples, the drama in its course of presentation unfurled the truth behind the statement ‘Nothing Is Everything and Everything Is Nothing’, the highest Vedantic Truth of Brahma Sathya. …And when one reaches the pinnacle of his spiritual experience, he comes to know that Sai alone is there, Who Is Everything. Singing the Atma Vidya Mantra, “Brahmanandam Paramasukhadam Kevalam Jnaanamurthim…”

The presentation in the next forty minutes, with the aid of narratives, poetic rhymes, dances, skits and videos, unfolded teachings galore from the lives of Bhagawan Sri Krishna, Sri Rama and Sri Sathya Sai HimSelf. Amid narratives, the presentation transported the audience to the enthralling beauty of Mathura and Dwaraka with Lord Krishna and then to Kishkinda to Bhagawan Sri Ram, illustrating the ‘point of discussion’, the truth that the bliss lies in the Ultimate Union, Union with God.

Seeking to unveil Maya, the children asked: “What Maya is this, O Ganghadhari, You walked miles and miles to fetch water” referring to Bhagawan ‘arduous’ life style during His ‘moulding’ days. Other episodes from His Story included the ‘collar-pin’ episode of dropping of Maya, Young Sathya feeding every starving soul, all embedded with teachings galore.

Atma is the essence of the Universe, in sakara and nirakara, with form and without form. The presentation this evening drove home this founding, fundamental truth of Brahma Sathya.

Blessed indeed is Mother Earth that she has earned the ethereal touch of Lord Sri Sathya Sai. In the final scene, a grateful Mother Earth along with her children lined up at the centre-stage singing paeans at Beloved Mother Sai. An English song of gratitude for Beloved Mother Sai was followed by a Birthday special in Telugu.

Love That Conquers He Is…, the vast ‘amphitheater’ in Prasanthi Nilayam turned filled and fulfilled this rainy evening, soaking in the bliss of Beloved Mother Sai, The Bliss Divine!

Children are truly the Sathya Sai ambassadors. And this evening, these wonderful children lived up to this truth, presenting the ‘Truth Ultimate’ in Sai’s own language. At the end, the participating children received a round of applause for their scintillating display of the spirit of Truth.

Children are truly the Sathya Sai ambassadors. And this evening, these wonderful children lived up to this truth, presenting the Truth Ultimate in Sai’s own language. A round of applause awaited the children for their scintillating display of the spirit of Truth. The Primary School fraternity joined from the side, showing allegiance, waving colourful flags, showing camaraderie.

Beautiful dance and song sequences graced the presentation and the disciplined, beautiful children played it out in real Sai-fashion, with great charm and elegance.

Bhajans continued and the session came to a close at 1810 hrs. with Mangala Arathi to Beloved Bhagawan.
