Sai International Youth on Sai’s Selfless Mission…

In the run-up to the 89th Birthday of Bhagawan, youth from overseas countries presented an offering on the theme “Service to man is service to God” herein Prasanthi Nilayam today.

The programme entailed the service activities of Sathya Sai International Organisations, interspersed with commentary, songs and video explaining who and what Bhagawan Is and all about His mission.

Earlier, commencing the session, Dr Jack Feely, Co-Chairman, Sri Sathya Sai International Disaster Risk Committee, introduced the session, briefing about the speaker for the session. Speaking on Bhagawan’s omnipresence and blessings, Dr Jack spoke about his experience in The Philippines that was hit by Haiyan, one of the most powerful tropical storms on record, causing wide severe destructions.

Mr Neville Fredericks, Chairman, Zone 3 of Sathya Sai International Organisations addressed the assembly then speaking on Bhagawan, his personal experiences and about the service activities of Sathya Sai International Organisations. Narrating his personal interactions with Bhagawan, Mr Fredericks divulged into details as to how Bhagawan had taught him to be self-loving and self-confident and thus to spiritualise his life.

The Youth programme continued next. Presented as a first person experience of an enthusiastic and earnest researcher from International Humanitarian Organisations, who ‘saincidentally’ bumped into the Selfess service arena of Sathya Sai International Organisations, the programme featured the researcher’s astounding experiences,  while travelling all over the globe, in a six-month mission to cover 126 countries under the Sai organisational network. Reaching The Philippines, the researcher announced, ‘enough is enough of researching and reporting; now I have to be a part of this most wonderful mission’… This was the moment of real transformation of the ‘first-person’ into a true Sai Sevak… learning in practical life The Truth behind Bhagawan’s Mission, ‘Service To Man Is Service To God’…

The programme was interspersed with beautiful songs, ably conducted by Bro Vivek from California, video on Bhagawan and His Selfless Mission and beautiful prayerful songs.

Bhajans commenced and ended with “Om Shivaya Om Shivaya…” in Bhagawan’s mellifluous voice. Mangala Arathi at 1840 hrs. marked the end of the session.
