Vibhutis of Vibhuti
Friday, March 8, 2013
Vibhuti means besides the sacred ashes or Udhi, which Sai Baba of Shirdi used to give or which Sathya Sai Baba, His Present manifestation creates and gives - but, also, might, power, greatness, magnificence, splendour, etc. This article deals with the Vibhutis of the Vibhuti of Sathya Sai Baba. The Bhagavad Gita declares: “There is no end to My Divine Vibhutis, O Slayer of foes! I have now described to you only a portion of My Vibhutis!” Yes; the Vibhutis of the Kaliyuga Avatar of the Lord, too, are without end; even the Vibhutis of His Vibhuti are endless. Through these series of four letters, from Sri HN Banerjee, we can picture to ourselves the immeasurable vastness of that Glory. Published in Sanathana Sarathi, May 1965. read more »

How I became part of “His” Story
Saturday, March 2, 2013
None comes to Him accidentally…and every one reaches Him at the right time, as willed by Him…none early, none late…and He alone decides who should stay back and enjoy…who should go out and live…with Sathya Sai, life is no more ordinary, as it turns into something Divinely Spectacular…but before coming unto Him, He allows us to exercise our will, finally to surrender to Him, for Him to decide. Sri Harishkrishan, who was with The Prasanthi Reporter from its inception, shares how he was drafted into Bhagawan, by Him in His own inimitable fashion… read more »

How Do You Know He Is God?
Thursday, February 28, 2013
How do we know that Bhagawan is God, asks Sri Bhanoji Rao from Washington DC, USA claiming that arguments and counter arguments about Bhagawan, discussing His Godhood, is a futile exercise for ordinary beings, for, neither the one who supports nor the one who counters is really aware why he does so… from Sanathana Sarathi, November 1979. read more »

Karathalamalaka…
Thursday, February 21, 2013
To indicate that a thing is clear beyond the slightest shadow of doubt, it is described in Sanskrit as “Karathalamalaka”, like the berry in the palm which all can see and none can deny. Proving to the genuine doubters, who doubted the Oneness of the ‘two’ Sais, Bhagawan had at times shown proof, Karathalamalaka proof, as indisputable as the Berry in the Palm! Read an account from Prof N Kasturi. read more »

To Ask Or Not To Ask…?…
Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Is prayer aimed at satisfying one’s wish desirable? Quoting instances from stories of yore, from the lives of those who were close to the previous Avatars, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, author ‘anonymous’ claims that satisfaction of one’s wish might come about in an altogether unforeseen and often unpalatable manner. …And what Bhagawan Himself had to comment on it? Read an extract from Sanathana Sarathi, January 1990. (written by author anonymous, ‘a faltering pilgrim’, from Hyderabad) read more »

I Am Never Alone…For I Am Your Very Own…Thus Supremely Blessed
Monday, February 18, 2013
Wise and devoted ones will ever understand God’s trials and tests, accepting them as ‘valuable things’ that help one to get closer to absolute surrender. For the one who is established in greater faith, what matters is the awareness of His eternal presence, while being tested…Sri Jullie Chaudhuri writes how she welcomes such tests only to reassure that Beloved Mother Sai walks along carrying His children all along the rough ride. read more »
