…are the very breath that i take…
Every breath does all else forsake…
…for Your sake…
Each breath that i take is…
…is inhaled entirely for Your sake…
Yet,
…of its eagerness every single breath makes no pretense…
…even as it awaits the exclusive harmony…
…of Thy distinct Fragrance…
i know You ceaselessly hold me in Your arms…
Yet,
…i long perennially for Thy Cherished Presence…
At times identifying with the physical…
…as would a child…
…i crave for that tangible something…
…that will make every cell in my being joyously sing…
The ears await in hushed silence…
…for the specific sound of Thy footfall…
…Omniscient You are…
Yet,
…how can you not hear my anguished call…?
…i know You are always with me…
Yet,
…i yearn to behold Thee in all that i see…
There is nothing that i can refer to as my own…
…there is nothing to which i can stake a claim…
Only Thy name…
