Essence Of Bharateeya Culture…

Even as Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality entered day-2 here in Prasanthi Nilayam today, the evening session at the Sanctum Sanctorum featured a scintillating, enlightening speech by Sri Sanjay Sahni, Director, SSSIHL, Brindavan campus.
Chose to speak on the subject “The Essence Of Bharateeya Culture” Sri Sahni deliberated for over fifty minutes with great clarity, backed by snippets of rare pearls from Bhagawan, defining the essential questions, who is a Bharateeya?… and what it is to be a Bharateeya?
Defining Bharat as the land with love for God, Sri Sahni then explained and elaborated on the concept – Unity in Diversity, terming it as the quintessence of Bharateeya Culture. Bringing in series of finer points linking to his subject, the erudite speaker explained them with elan, quoting scriptural inferences from Bhagawan’s Divine Teachings.
Sathya Sai Is The One Who Rests On Truth… Those who live without understanding ‘Sathya’ are blind, echoed the speaker quoting Bhagawan leaving the assembly to ponder over.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi 1840 hrs.
Earlier, the session commenced at 1720 hrs. with Vedic incantations by girl students. Sri Srikanth Khanna, Research Scholar with Dept Of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Prasanthi Nilayam campus then introduced the speaker for the evening.
