Friday, February 24th, 2017
Meditating, contemplating and ruminating on the light of holy night of Lord Shiva, students from Sri Sathya Sai Institutions presented an invigorating devotional session at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet this morning here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Today is auspicious Maha Shivarathri, the Great Night Of Lord Shiva! Engulfed with euphoric feeling of golden days in the past, of the times with Beloved Bhagawan Who is verily Shiva-Shakthi incarnate, Prasanthi turned resplendent this morning charged with Divine vibrations as the day dawned in this holy township. Sai Kulwant turned shining with a riot of colours hanging from top, with a devout assembly adding to the resplendence decorating the hall on the auspicious morning.
Commencing the day’s proceedings, University Percussion Band, both Nadaswaram and Panchavadyam, played for ten minutes apiece, heralding the auspiciousness of the occasion, while Veda chanting continued as scheduled, till 0830 hrs.
A series of mellifluous rendition by the students followed next, that included Ashtakams and devotional songs.
A book release by Sri RJ Ratnakar Garu, Member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust followed next. The book, The Divine Puppeteer, authored by Sri Ajit Poppat is a compilation of 65 speeches delivered in the immediate Divine Presence, between 2001 until 2010. Sri Ajit Poppat then addressed the august assembly briefing his saga with Bhagawan in his most inimitable style. His energetic rhetoric turned out to be a rare, audio treat disseminating priceless lessons received directly from Bhagawan.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
