Saturday, July 18th, 2015
On the occasion of Holy Ramzan, first year post graduate students of SSSIHL offered a drama entitled ‘Sathyam Sivam Sundaram’ this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam.
The presentation, in several episodes, showcased inspiring tales from Bhagawan’s Chinna Kathas and Divine discourses highlighting the desired path for man, leading a life of Truth and Righteousness.
Set against a Mt Kailasha scene with Lord Vishnu and Narada being visitors at Lord Shiva’s Abode, the discussion and deliberation next, regarding man’s struggle with worldly pursuits and the way outs, led to the evening’s enlightening episodes of high morals suffused with Divine Wisdom.
Topics featured included Selfless Love, God as an embodiment of Love and Compassion, Rama Nama with Rama Karya (work) and Ananya Bhakti, etc.
Befitting the holy occasion, a Namaz (Muslim prayer) episode was shown as an interlude involving the theme, wherein the drama crew along with some local Muslim devotees offered the traditional prayer at the Sanctum Sanctorum.
In conclusion, students echoed in unison, calling Sathya Sai as an experience, Whose legacy would last through His teachings. A beautiful group song of unity and purity, in Telugu, Paavanamayanu Maa Janmamu… brought the curtains down for the beautiful programme.
Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1825 hrs.
