Musical Offering by Jayakumar…

A musical offering – Sai Pushpanjali – by Sri Jayakumar marked the second evening of the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi festival here in Prasanthi Nilayam yesterday.
Beginning with “Shuklambharadharam Vishnum…” the blessed singer who honed his skills under various master including the legendary M Balamurali Krishna continued for the next one hour singing including some Carnatic compositions, namely, Vataapi Ganapatim…, Shiva Shankari Shivananda Lahari…, Namo Sathya Sai Baba… ending with a bhajan Rama Rama Rama Jaya Jaya Jaya Rama…
Sri Jayakumar was accompanied by Smt Jayanthi on Vocal, Smt Jayalakshmi on Violin, Sri Pavan on Sythesiser, Sri Sridhar on Tabla and Sri Vijay on Octopad. At the end of the presentation the artiste along with his accompanists were felicitated by Senior Trust Official.
Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1825 hrs.
