Easwaramma Day in Prasanthi Nilayam…

Depicting the twist n’ tale story of two fast friends, Sudha and Chitra, portraying them from their school days to college to the world of professional life, beautiful children from Sri Sathya Sai Jagriti Vidya Mandir, Darwa, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana presented a dance drama in Hindi entitles ‘Love All Serve All’ on 6th May, Easwaramma Day evening, here in Prasanthi Nilayam.
As the title suggests, the presentation was a reminder of Bhagawan’s core message – LOVE ALL SERVE ALL.
Earlier, the programme commenced at 0520 hrs. with a short introductory talk by one of the research scholars, Sri KM Ganesh on the greater significance of Easwaramma Day. This was followed by Bhagawan’s Divine Discourse, played on public address system.
Sudha and Chitra, protagonists in the presentation, hail from two different backgrounds, Sudha from a well-to-do family while Chitra from a slum background. Even as Sudha’s parents became sponsors for the poor, yet intelligent girl, Sudha was still nurturing resentment towards Chitra, owing to her poor societal status.
Chitra remained the good among the two only to win her friend’s heart at the opportune moment. Ever since, they were the best of the mates, inseparable, brilliant in academics, from school level to college level. Even as they moved away into their professional life with Sudha topping the IAS and Chitra opting to her hobby as a painter and Balvikas Teacher they remained the best of friends, appreciating and loving each other.
The presentation also depicted a role model teacher from the school, whose inspirations guidance helped the mates to get into the high rung of professional and personal life with character.
Despite being absent for number of days owing to problems back at home, the girls appears at the venue in the nick of time, completely lost and famished, remaining resolute to excel. Promising to uphold the prestige of the institution the girl finally sings her heart out to her Beloved Mother, in front of a large audience, only to stand first in the competition.
Concluding scene was presented with climax, showing the transformation of another teacher, who remained negative and non-cooperative throughout. After a Painting Exhibition when Chitra won the awarded a special trophy, she in turn offered it to her best friend who was always inspirational…Sudha in turn offered it to her role model teacher who finally did the right thing, offering it to Bhagawan Who Is The Soul Motivator.
Earlier the presentation began with the backdrop story of Chitra, who was blessed by Divine Mother in a unique way. The child had an earnest desire to have the flower offered to the Mother Divine in the nearby Mandir. In order to satisfy his little one’s heartfelt desire the poor slum dweller father went into the temple to ‘snatch’ a flower offered at Her Feet, only to end with receiving beatings from the landlords. After a miraculous reprieve, that he felt all of a sudden, when he returned home to his surprise he found his little one playing with the waste garland of Mother Divine…he was wise enough to understand that Mother Divine came in person to bless his child…Being grateful, overjoyed, he decided to put his child in the best of the school, Sri Sathya Sai Jagriti Vidya Mandir, run in the Holy Name Of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba…
At the end of the presentation all the participating children were felicitated. Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1645 hrs.

Quoting extensively from the the illustrious life of Bhagawan, right from the day’s of Mother Easwaramma’s Immaculate Conception leading to the Birth Of The Divine, to Bhagawan’s childhood-school day stories to the Sathya Sai the world know, as The Teacher and Preacher Of Cosmic Beauty, Sri Ganesh highlighted the supreme beauty of the Mother Of The Avatar, who was His choice for His entrance unto this world.
Bhagawan’s Divine discourse that followed had many interesting episodes from His life…Concluding His Divine discourse Bhagawan urged the devotees to revere and respect the mother. Bhagawan ended His Divine discourse with the bhajan “Sathyam Jnaanam Anantham Brahma…”
An Art and Craft curriculum entitled ‘Sameep’ for the schools enrolled under the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Programme was dedicated at Baba’s Lotus Feet during the the occasion. ‘Sameep’ was subsequently released by Prof Vishwanath Pandit, formerly Vice Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Learning. The new curriculum endeavours to embed human values while teaching Arts & Crafts to children. The curriculum presents seven workbooks and handbooks for classes 1 to 7, specially designed with Arts & Craft activities to suit appropriate age group of children.
