Vibrant UK Youth Offers Instrumental, Vocal Medley…

Disciplined, devoted and filled with energy and enthusiasm, youth from the United Kingdom presented a vibrant devotional evening playing instrumental and vocal offering at the Divine Lotus Feet here in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Beginning with special Vedam invocation, the youth seem to have started from where they had stopped on 17 October evening, when they had their first offering, playing soulful instrumentals often indulging in Jugalbandhi, involving Tabla, Mridangam and Sitar.
Continuing with vocal rendition, the youth sang their hearts out with an English, followed by Hindi and Telugu numbers. The songs were, “I Will Love You More And More…”, “Hum Ko Tum Se Pyaar Kithna…” and “Oye Rama Sai Rama…”. The programme ended with an array of fast paced bhajans presented in medley. The session concluded with Thursday Special, Bhagawan singing “Sathya Dharmamu Shanthi Premalatho…”
The group led by long-time devotee Sri Ajit Poppat had Kapil Dev Parashar on Harmonium, Harianand Mistry on Tabla, Sai Ganesh on Mridangam and Akash Parekh on Sitar and Guitar. The group also actively participated in the seven day Grama Seva concluded on Vijaya Dashami Day.
Prasadam was distributed to the entire assembly and Mangala Arathi was offered at 1810 hrs.
After Dasara and Grama Seva, educational institutions have been closed for winter vacation until the first week of November.
