His Love…

The Eternal Witness in our Lord Who is our Master Creator and Divine Sustainer walks the path along with each one of us holding us all through our journey. Unaware of His towering Avataric presence, when the world is engaged in deep slumber, some chosen and privileged ones are made aware of His blessed presence in our midst, by Himself! Read on an inspiring story of, as the author calls it, pouring life into a dying ‘soul’, as written by Prasanth Sai, an alumnus from Bhagawan’s University. Sri Prasanth Sai is currently serving Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust in its Vidya Vahini mission.
In 2007, I had a craze to learn about stars and planets. Astronomically, they are light-years apart and held together by gravity. Astrologically, they are said to influence our lives. 27 constellations, 9 planets, and two shadow planets, what is the relationship? Well, I never got to a scientific rationale on this, but there was an interesting experience I had.
During the latter half of 2007, in a group of 6, we were learning the Krishnamurthy Paddhati or KP system of prediction. An expert in the field, lets us call him Mr. KP was explaining the intricacies of the system. Unable to understand his ways we were using specific examples. We would give him one of our charts and ask him to explain a specific area in life like, profession, longevity, education … without mentioning the person.
One such day, a chart was given and Mr.KP asked, “Bathike unada? telusukovali kada… Chusemundu ivi avasramu (Is he alive? just to know… these things are a must before you read.)”
We: “Yes”
Mr.KP: “Nijanga unnada? Yekkada unnadu? Ee urulona? … Meeku veedu telusa? (Is he really there? Where is he? Here?… Do you know him?”)
It was then told to him that the same was my chart.
Mr.KP: “Ee madhyana yemaina jariginda? Swami daggara ala… (is there any specific incident that happened recently in your life? May be near Swami…)”
I said, “Yes”
Mr. KP: “Inka neevu idi chudaku (pointing to the chart)… Nee raatha Aayana chetulo undi… indulo Aayussu emi ledu… Idi chudaku… (Do not see this chart anymore… Your life is in His hands… In this chart there is no longevity. Do not see this anymore)
It was just one of the many times our Lord saved me. In 2006, the medium action insulin I was using was phased-out. I had to switch to another insulin having a similar nature of action. I found that the insulin did not suit me well. I used to get severe hypoglycemia (low sugar levels in the blood) at about three in the night. If I decreased a unit of insulin, I would not get a low in the night, but would have a high of 300 mg/dl when I woke up. An increase in a unit the next day would cause a severe ‘low’- at times, as low as 30mg/dl at 3 am. The only way was to change my insulin type. How do I do this without informing the One who put me on medication? I had to wait on every doctor’s suggestion. About six months passed with these nightmares.
On July 12th, 2007, I was asked to meet the Vice chancellor, Sir Anil Gokak, for a teaching job at the university. That evening after the job interviews eight of us were seated in the bhajan hall to take Bhagawan’s blessings. In His loving style, and with a smile the Lord came in and asked each one individually, “which subject and what have you studied?” I was at the end of the row. He beckoned me to come near and asked, “ye subject? (Which subject?)”
I said, “Mathematics and Computer science”
Swami, “Mathematics aa…”
He lovingly showed His hand. In my foolish exuberance I was looking for a kerchief. He said, “hand.”
I put my hand in His, He asked, “Arogyamu yela undi? (How is your health?)”
I said, “Swami raathri low sugars vastunnai, Insulin suit avaledu. (I get low sugars at night. The insulin is not suiting me)”
Swami said, “Naaku telusu… (I know)”
He blessed me and left the Bhajan hall…
And the problem never recurred again to this day!
What is this Love? What fills Him, that He pours life into a dying ‘soul’? What do I do to be that part of Him that makes me live as His part given to me? All I can do is pray, “Lord, make me Your’s in all ways at all times…”
