Maha Poornahuthi Offered…

Marking the grand the culmination of the Devi Navaratri festivity, Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed the holistic offering of Maha Poornahuthi to the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna this morning at the Poornachandra Auditorium.

Today marks the auspicious Vijaya Dasami that symbolises the victory of good over evil. True to the significance, by Bhagawan’s infinite blessings and His Divine Sankalpa, the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna that commenced on the 19th of October went on for the past one week with great superseding spirit, during these trying times of pandemic, culminating today with victory of good over evil, the after-effect of which the world is sure to partake from now on. The Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna that had its initiation in the year 1962 at Bhagawan’s ‘direct’ behest carries a holistic aim, Universal Peace and Harmony.

The proceedings this morning began at 0700 hrs and got into high gear at around 10:00 hrs with the commencement of the final phase of the offering of the Maha Poornahuthi. 

With a packed audience watching the proceedings, Bhagawan, The Yajna Purusha, Who presided over the Yajna in His OmniPresent Form, received the Maha Poornahuthi offering at 10:15 hrs, marking the grand culmination. A sizeable devout audience, who arrayed strictly adhering to the prevailing social-distancing norms, witnessed the proceedings.

The venue at Poornachandra had its share of glow n’ glitter befitting the auspicious occasion. Live with vibrant Vedic chants, with Bhagawan’s throne shining in splendour, flaming fire adorning the sacred fire-pit consuming every single offering into ‘naught,’ the venue turned holistic, hosting the Supreme Master as The Yajna Purusha, an incomparable sight to behold for every devout soul.

This blessed venue had the infinite blessing of hosting the beautiful Divine Form of The Yajna Purusha, clad in burning red, presiding over the function on many such Vijaya Dasami occasions during the past decades.

Granting an additional whiff of grace for the devout assembly, prokshanam, the sprinkling of sanctified water was offered next, blessing the concourse of devotees.

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse played during the occasion signified on the five yajnas explaining the inner significance.

Mangala Arathi at 11:00 hrs marked the end of the morning proceedings.
