Sai Youth – Karnataka Parthi Yatra

Following the successful completion of a 41- day ritual of ‘Ishta Devata Vratam’, a Kannadiga tradition, over 1800 Sai Youth from Karnataka have come, for the first time, to sacrosanct Prasanthi Nilayam on motorbikes, participating in a Motorbike Rally aiming at spreading Bhagawan’s message. Youth from 33 of the 36 Sathya Sai districts are participating in this Rally. Adding on over 700 Mahila Youth also joined the troupe, participating in the 2-day Yatra.  read more »

Namakkal Parthi Yatra…

Devotees from Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu are on a Parthi Yatra, second successive ‘Vikas’ Parthi Yatra, to sacrosanct Prasanthi Nilayam. Celebrating the graceful occasion, renowned Carnatic vocalist Padmasri Dr Sirgazhi Shivachidambaram presented a Carnatic session this evening at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. A practising medico based out of Chennai, postgraduate in Internal medicine, Dr Shivachidambaram is the son of leading Carntic maestro Padmasri (Late) Dr Sirgazhi Govindarajan. read more »

Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha – Day-6

Today is Maha Navami, the 9th and penultimate day of the 10-day-long Dasara celebrations.  The proceedings for the 6th session of the Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha commenced this evening with a heart-warming invocatory Vedic chanting by the beautiful tiny tots of Bhagawan’s Primary School. Clad in burning red, reflecting innocence all-over, when the little ones resounded the hall with the chants of Medha Suktam propitiating the Mother Divine, it was equally echoing  the fructification of a Divine Resolve by Beloved Bhagawan, assuring the much needed Vedic Renaissance. read more »

Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha – Day-5

When He set His mission rolling, He has attracted many a beautiful soul unto Him, allotting them specific tasks, letting His mission on. The group of ‘Sai Sannidhi’ is one such bloc of blessed souls who are mostly ‘hand-picked’ by Bhagawan, serving in various Sri Sathya Sai institutions spreading over Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, Muddenahalli, and Rajahmundry. Today, in the 5th evening of the ongoing Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha in Prasanthi, the ‘Sai Sannidhi’ submitted itself at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet in everlasting gratitude, presenting a lively evening  of experiences with ‘Swami’. Ayudha Puja in Prasanthi Nilayam

Following the set Prasanthi tradition, Ayudha Puja was observed in His immediate Divine OmniPresence in Sai Kulwant hall this auspicious Durgashtami morning in Prasanthi Nilayam. Commencing at 0830 hrs, to the accompaniment of Vedic chants and bhajans, various vehicles blessed and sanctified by Bhagawan’s physical touch, including the Golden Chariot, were worshipped in the morning, attended by senior office bearers, students and staff. read more »

Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha – Day 1

Following the initiation of the Dasara Jnana Saptaha Yajna this morning, the Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha, ensemble of the learned, commenced this evening, marked by a speech, Divine discourse, followed by a musical offering. The speaker for the day was Sri CR Santosh, Doctoral Research Scholar from the Prasanthi Nilayam campus of SSSIHL. With the help of anecdotes and analogies from the beautiful Bharatvarsha tales, the young speaker elucidated on the greater significance of the unparalleled love of Beloved Mother Sai. read more »
