Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha – Day-6

Today is Maha Navami, the 9th and penultimate day of the 10-day-long Dasara celebrations.  The proceedings for the 6th session of the Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha commenced this evening with a heart-warming invocatory Vedic chanting by the beautiful tiny tots of Bhagawan’s Primary School. Clad in burning red, reflecting innocence all-over, when the little ones resounded the hall with the chants of Medha Suktam propitiating the Mother Divine, it was equally echoing  the fructification of a Divine Resolve by Beloved Bhagawan, assuring the much needed Vedic Renaissance.

Sri Hirak Doshi, Research Scholar from Prasanthi Nilayam Campus of SSSIHL introduced the session next.

The speaker for the evening was Dr KN Naresh, Asst Prof, Dept of Bio-Sciences. Themed after Mother’s Sai’s incomprehensible Motherly Love, Dr Naresh in his poetic speech for the next over 40-minutes, took the audience for an interesting and dramatic ride, through the dense deep of the Pacific first, covering the land of Costa Rica next, then returning to his own Rayalaseema village to finally for a safe-landing at ‘Swami’s Own’ Prasanthi Nilayam, narrating four distinctly  dramatic stories of Selfless Motherly Love.

A Bio-Science faculty at SSSIHL, Naresh chose to begin with two distinct wild-life stories, that of Mother Octopus in the dense deep of the Pacific followed by the frog in the Costa Rican forest, narrating how these natural organisms in wild life are full of selfless love. Pausing himself and asking as to Who Sustains the vast creation and its inhabitants, the speaker then flowed on with his own family experience of Bhagawan’s Motherly Love n’ Compassion, saving his family from a million-fold tragedy followed by a 1997 Sports Meet incident involving Bhagawan as The Life-Saver, hundreds of feet up in the sky. Through his poetically dramatic expressions of experiences Dr Naresh emphatically asserted on the Supreme Godhood of Bhagawan, Who Is present everywhere in everything, as proclaims by the ancient scriptural verse,  Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Matru-rupena Sansthita…

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed next, played on the public address system.

The Prasanthi Dance Troupe comprising of students from various Sai educational institutions then presented the final offering for the day, a glittering dance presentation entitled “Bhagavata Saramu…” sequentially presenting the story of Bhagawan Sri Krishna. An Infinitely Soul-stirring ‘master-piece’ on the auspicious Vijaya Dasami eve, presenting the story of Bhagawan Sri Krishna – The Greatest Musician Of His Own Creation! Mother Radharani’s story of glory of ultimate surrender, Atma Nivedanam, with the backdrop narration by none other than Beloved Bhagawan, and the ever nostalgic  musical beauty, Pattu Paduma Krishna… literally turned out to be heart-wrenching. ‘The Thief Of All Hearts’, Chitta Chora – Lord Krishna literally stole hearts many in the waning twilight, powered by His unmatched OmniPresence.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.

Tomorrow is holy Vijaya Dasami that marks the culmination of the Dasara Jnana Saptaha Yajna with the final offering of Maha Poornahuthi.
