Sanathana Vaibhavam – Musical Offering by Music Alumni…

When the sacred heart space is filled with gratitude galore, it becomes difficult to hold back the feeling, that it streams through unbounded, with a fulfilled feeling – feeling of His Touch Of Love… and what results is Pure Bliss!!!
Inspired by the timeless message of the Lord, that He resides in the heart of His devotees where His glory is sung, celebrating the 90th Year Of His Advent, the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri College Of Music offered a unique musical ‘gratitude’ offering titled “Sanathana Vaibhavam” this evening here, at His Divine Abode in Prasanthi Nilayam.
The maiden concert of this series was offered in Prasanthi Nilayam on 12th May 2013, and after completing 89 concerts in different parts of India, today’s concert was the glorious 90th ‘concluding’ offering of dedication.
Beginning with an ‘Open Heart’ expression of gratitude, the concert opened with St Thyagaraja’s famous Pancharatna Keertana, Endharo Mahanubhavulu… in Rag Revathi and flowed through the Prasanthi twilight, presenting an evening of musical rhapsody with some scintillating piece of music. This included a captivating Bho Shambho Shiva Shambho Swayam Bho… that ended with a captivating Thaniavaratanam. The concert ended with “Rama Kodanda Rama…” one of Bhagawan’s ‘favourite’ picks.
The programme was interspersed with commentary in both Telugu and English as well as student-reminiscences.
Apart from conducting concerts, the group was also engaged in a range of all-round activities, including conducting Hari Katha, Hanuman Chalisa Parayanas, Burra Katha enacting, orphanage visits, spreading the glory of music, to name a few.
The group led by Sri V.N.S. Bhaskar had Sarvasree B. Sai Pavan and M.S. Phaniraj on vocal, accompanied by a host of musicians.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
