As Onam celebrations by Kerala reached day – 4 today, Sai Youth from the State presented a soulful devotional offering at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet this morning in Prasanthi Nilayam.
The session commenced at 0820 hrs. after regular Vedic incantations, today by the State contingent, with a popular carnatic number Japatha Japatha Harinama Manuja….
Payoji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan Payo – famous Mira Bhajan was the next piece that was followed by Hey Govind Hey Gopal…, Kande Naan Vrindavanam – a Tamil piece, Ethu Naamavum Ethu Roopavum Ekam Ekamani – in vernacular Malayalam, Chandrachoodane Shiva Sai Gangadharaney Bhagavaney… (Mal -Tamil mix) and Bruhi Mukundeto Rasane – one of the favourite carnatic pieces of Bhagawan - a composition by the legendary poetic saint Sadashiva Brahmendra.
Bhajans by the Kerala devotees continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi at 0930 hrs.
The ongoing Sreemad Narayaneeyam Parayanam will continue this morning at the Poornachandra Auditorium to conclude at 1300 hrs. with Mangala Arathi followed by Prasadam.
