Holi celebrated in Prasanthi Nilayam

Celebrating holy Holi, the festival of colours, devotees from the State of Bihar presented a drama entitled ‘Bhakta Sakha Bhagawan’ this evening in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The presentation in Hindi by the Bhagalpur Balvikas was thematic of the power of prayer, depicting the unsullied devotion of a simpleton boy, Bhola. Set to follow Ekadashi fast following his guru’s advice, Bhola, a simpleton who cannot keep his stomach waiting for want of food, awaits The Lord with innocent pleadings to come and partake the offering.

After offering food to The Divine Couple, partaking along with, Bhola wins the grace to have The Couple present once again for the  food offering, during the next edition of Ekadashi in the following month. Come to next Ekadashi, Bhola was readily awaiting the Divine Couple at the heights of the Kalpavriksha Tree on the banks of Holy River Chitravati.

The Lord presented HimSelf in time with His entourage of  ‘complete’ family.  Making arrangement for sufficient food for all, all merciful Lord treats an entreats Bhola not only with food but also with food for the soul, granting him the boon of darshan for his revered parents and gurudev.

With a simple storyline with the message of pure devotion, beautiful children from Bhagalpur stole the hearts present in His Divine OmniPresence.

Prasanthi Nilayam had its first Holi celebrations in 2005, in the immediate Divine Presence of Bhagawan, and ever since devotees from Bihar have been frequenting Prasanthi Nilayam celebrating the colours of devotion in Beloved Bhagawan’s incomparable Divine Presence. Over 500 devotees from Bihar are attending the 2-day Parthi Yatra this year.
