Navavidha Bhakti – a unique presentation by Sai Students…

All roads lead to the same destination… The True Truth! If alone God on Earth has a mission, it is Bhaktodhdharana, emancipation of devotees. Exhibiting unique camaraderie practising His precept of unity that leads to Divinity, Sai Student fraternity, both old and new, join alike this Aradhana Day evening offering a unique programme on Navavidha Bhakti at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The proceedings began with an introductory talk by Sri GSRCV Prasad Rao, Member Secretary, SSSCT, who, in brief, explained the contextual story of the evening programme. Talking on the uniqueness of Prasanthi Nilayam, the speaker reminded the august assembly that Prasanthi Nilayam is a spiritual sadhana centre and not a religious centre, where all are always welcomed.

The 90-mts. offering next was segmented into 9 distinct sections, each section dedicated to the nine modes of worship, a theme that Bhagawan always kept close to His Heart.

Beginning with the first mode of worship, Shravanam, presenting Vedic recital, the programme flowed on for the next 90-mts. cascading through, exhibiting each mode of worship through Sankeertanam, featuring the song in Hindi, “Sai Tumho Mera Pyaar”, Vishnusmaranam and Padasevanam portrayed through Sai Gayatri chanting coupled with worshipping the Divine Lotus Feet with 108 Ashtothara Shata Namavali, Vandanam via an aesthetic dance offering to the tune of ‘Vanadanamu Sathya Sayieesha…”, Archanam through poetic recital in 7 distinct languages, Dasyam with a Burrakatha portrayal, Sakhyam through a Harikatha presentation to finally to the final stage of Atma Nivedanam that featured 108 Arathis to the tune of nostalgic beauty of olden-golden Prasanthi, Paavana Purusha Sayiesha… flowing on to Shankara Roopa Sajjana Vandita. Bhagawan would often say, Radha was the Dhara Of Aradhana…and the presentation ended on this unique note of reminder, for one and all to follow suit.

A unique ‘Brooklet’ …eagerly rushing to bathe The Petal-Soft Lotus Feet, while gurgling with love supreme for the Supreme ‘Love That Conquers’.
