Cuddalore Parthi Yatra…

A  group of over 750 devotees from the Tamil Nadu district of Cuddalore is on a 2-day Parthi Yatra to Prasanthi Nilayam. Cuddalore had a date with The Master Divine when Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai had willed to bless the Neyveli Sai Samithi, addressing a concourse of devotees at the Bharati Stadium, Neyveli on the 24th January 1982.

Aptly named ‘GuruSharanam’, the pilgrim group, with heart-full of love and gratitude, presented an evening of devotionals today at the Sanctum Sanctorum in the immediate Divine OmniPresence.  The session commenced at 1700 hrs after half-an-hour Veda chanting by the Cuddalore group, with a short speech by Sri Sai Prasad, District President of SSSSO. Reminiscing the golden moments from 1982 with gratitude galore, the district president briefed in short-detail of the Seva activities in the district, praying to Bhagawan for His continued grace, guidance and blessings.

Man is born to source out his True Truth, that is Love. In His quest to find his ‘truth’ he is constantly on the move, often romancing with The Divine. How often he gets to sing unto Him, that Source and that Force, ‘We Love You…’ Whom he has sighted in His ‘beauty beyond compare’ physical frame?!? The session that ensued featured a musical garland by the combined team of Balavikas and Sai Youth serenading Him with 9 selected gems of adoration and glorification.

Commencing with a Ganesha Vandana, Jai Jai Jai Jaya GanaNatha Deva…, the session flowed on with Madhura Madhura Ghana Shyama…, Thuu Pyaar Ka Sagar Hey…, Janani Janani Jagatkarini…, Hum Ko Tum Se Pyaar Kitna…, an instrumental version of Love Is My Form…, Rama Kodana Rama… to end with the Qawwali, Sai Binaa Raha Na jaye…

Earlier, in the morning, devotees from the district had the blessing of conducting Mandir morning proceedings, half an hour Vedam followed by an hour-long bhajans at the Sanctum Sanctorum.

On the sidelines of Maha Shivarathri, an All India Training Programme For Sevadal Master Trainers is being conducted in Prasanthi Nilayam. Over 320 pan-India Sevadals are participating in the 2-day training programme being conducted in the Double Decker Audiotorum next to the Book Trust builiding. The training imparted ‘skills’ with the core group will subsequently percolate down to various levels to meet with the societal ‘seva’ requirements.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
