Prasanthi Nilayam’s epochal Dasara celebrations began this morning in Prasanthi Nilayam with the installation of the sacred Kalasha. Speaking on the significance of the 10-day spiritual feast Dr. Sai Giridhar Sai Ram spoke on the subject ‘Upasana Rahasya – The Essence Of Sacred Worship’ this evening here in the immediate Divine OmniPresence in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Commencing the exposition with Bhagawan’s famed Chinna Katha of Bhagawan on the essence of Tripura Rahasya, Dr Sai Giridhar in the next almost 50 minutes spoke in detail of the inner significance of the Dasara celebrations, divulging in detail on the details of Kalasha Stapana (installation of the Kalasha), The Yajna and the Yajna Kunda (the fire pit), also explaining the significance of worshipping the Divine Mothers, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The imperceptible Brahman is made perceptible to the human folks in the external through these ritual called Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna, said the speaker elucidating on the essence of the 7-day ritual. He summed reminding the assembly of the importance of Aatamanubhava, that of experiencing the eternal breath of ‘I Am That’.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
