Penultimate Session Of All India Medical Conference…

The penultimate session of the ongoing All India Medical Conference featured an extension of Sri Sathya Sai Dhanwanthari Seva Award Ceremony, a book release, an inspirational speech by the All India President of SSSSO-India and a short video presentation this Sunday morning here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The session commenced with a book release, “Avatar’s Prescriptions”, authored by Dr Vijay Kumar, Formerly Professor and HOD at Dept Of Anesthesia at Anna Cancer Hospital, Kancheepuram, TN, currently a Member Trustee of SSST – Tamil Nadu.

An extension of Sri Sathya Sai Dhanwanthari Seva Award Ceremony followed next , felicitating 34 pan-India medicos for their outstanding contribution to the Sai Healthcare Mission. The awardees this morning included Dr P. Venugopal, formerly Director at AIIMS, New Delhi, who conducted the first cardiac operation on the inaugural day of the first ever Temple Of Healing at Prasanthigram, Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Medical Sciences, at Bhagawan’s direct instance, Dr PK Dash, a reputed cardiologist from SSSIHMS, Whitefield, who has over 20 years of experience in clinical cardiology along with many others. The awardees included many veterans with unparalleled distinction of selfless service at Bhagawan’s Medicare mission. Dr V Mohan served as Master Of Ceremony for the award function.

Addressing the august assembly, Sri Nimish Pandya, AIP of SSSSO – India deliberated on the ‘Path Forward, expressing hope to make the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations a good platform of meeting good people, of medicos to take Bhagawan’s healthcare mission effectively at doorstep. Stressing on the greater need to become good within, by initiating into personal transformation to make the world outside good, the AIP also hinted upon the constitution of a pan-India committee of medicos to build a national network to take the mission at doorstep. Sri Nimish Pandya’s  eloquent inimitable speech had a blend of both spiritual philosophy and practical spirituality. It is in the silencing of the mind that God can be heard within and here lies the secret, said Sri Pandya. When voice of Swami is heard within, where the ego vanishes, the Master takes charge and does what He wants to do through each one of us, reminded the President speaking on the significance of the Sri Sathya Sai Medicare Mission. Hailing the commendable commitment and dedication of the medical fraternity Sri Nimish Pandya invoked a round of applause for the medical professional for their selfless dedication.

A short video presentation on the medical activities of the Organisation next was followed Bhagawan’s Valedictory Address.
