As Prasanthi gears up running into the glorious 90th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, this October week-end is to feature a unique Tamil Nadu festival in the immediate Divine omnipresence in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Commencing the week-long festivity this evening, students from Sri Vishwa Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School presented a long-skit on the legend of the inception and evolution of the School – a story of touch of grace of Beloved Bhagawan, uplifting Vandalur, providing high class modern education. The School has successfully completed three decades of service to the society, imparting Sai education to thousands upon thousands.
After a short introduction, as references of special features poured forth in the next one-hour, the music team of students from the School that won accolades for their exceptional performances turned up first, exhibiting their talent, playing the melodic beauty in the Divine Presence.
A Yoga demonstration entitled ‘Values Thru Yoga’ was the next item, wherein a bunch of students exhibited acrobatic skills with formations on a high-pole and at ground level, displaying concentration, courage, dexterity, unity and harmony.
When gratitude fills and fulfills the heart, when heart is overpowered by the values of transformation, it takes the shape of unbounded love and compassion. The presentation next illustrated such a noble story of transformation, of a student by name Aadesh, of the Vishwa Vidyalaya School, whose surrender to the will of God transformed him to become a beacon light, counseling the rural children.
The hour-long presentation ended with a grateful reference to Bhagawan’s Mission and guidance, before bursting into a group song.
Bhajans by the Tamil Nadu contingent continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan at 1825 hrs.
Earlier, the programme commenced at 1700 hrs with a colourful dance depiction of the Dasavatars of Lord Vishnu.
