SadhGuru Devotional Sandhya by Suresh Wadkar…

Lilting melody… with magical lifting touch… powered by devotional ambience engulfed the hallowed Prasanthi precincts on this Guru Pournima evening as legendary playback singer and long-time devotee of Bhagawan, Sri Suresh Wadkar crooned at the Sanctum Sanctorum singing for The Supreme Teacher Of All Teachers, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.

Nothing could have been any better to begin with than the lilting, lifting Marathi devotional dedicated to The Supreme Teacher “Omkara Swarupa… SadhGuru Samartha…”. Catching the pulse of the auspicious evening with the lifting song, the number that followed was one of Swami’s favourite songs that he sung on the occasion of 70th birthday, Aur is Dil Mein Kya Rakha Hai Tera Hi Pyaar

A Vittala Marathi number Vittala Namacha Re Taho next was followed by Ore Raahi Tuche Jaana Hey Parthi Nagariya…, calling the mind to travel to Puttaparthi.

The evening that ensued kept the house in rapt attention with a string of exhilarating devotionals, namely  Tuu Pyaar Ka Sagar Hey…, Araj Suno Mori SaiNath Peer…, Ithni Shakthi Hame Dena Dada…, Guro Paramatma Pareshu…, Suno To Ganga Ye Kya Sunaye…and Kanada Raja Pandharicha….

The artist and accompanists were felicitated. Bhajans continued and ended with Bhagawan singing “Vahe Guru Vahe Guru…”

The gifted singer had the rare blessing of performing in the immediate Divine Presence many times, from the nineties on.

Mangala Arathi at 1845 hrs. marked the end of the glorious Guru Purnima evening.
