A Maha Sahasra Kalashabhishekam, attended by hundreds of devotees from all over India and abroad, is to be offered at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet this mroning in Sai Kulwant Hall. The programme commences at 0600 hrs. with Veda chanting for fifteen minutes. Sahasra Kalashabhishekam will begin at 0800 hrs. to continue till 1000 hrs. Bhajans by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Karnataka will follow, from 1000 hrs. to 1030 hrs. followed by Sri Sathya Sai Ashtotharam and Ashtavadhana Pooja from 1030 hrs. till 1100. Mangala Arathi will be offered at 1100 hrs.
A significant feature of the programme is that, Water collected from all sacred rivers of India, collected in thousand containers, will be offered at the Divine Lotus Feet during the occasion, as part of the rituals.
As part of the programme, in the evening, eminent scholar S. Ranganathan, Director RV Institute of Sanskrit Studies, will speak on the significance of Gayathri Mantra and Upanayanam.
