Pilgrimage by Tamil Nadu Devotees

Over thousand devotees from Tamil Nadu arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam in two contingents on Feb 10th and 11th 2012 to pay obeisance to Bhagawan. Over 300 village leaders, devotees, balvikas children, parents and gurus from Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu arrived at Prasanthi Nilayam on the 10th morning. The mother tongue of the people of Nilgiris is Tamil and their introduction to Telugu is only through Sai Bhajans. Out of their love to Bhagawan, they have learnt Telugu, the language of the Avatar, and presented the play “Sathya Harishchandra” in the Telugu language this evening in the Sai Kulwant Hall. read more »

Chinese New Year in Prasanthi Nilayam…

Every tradition that reaches the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan brings native values and rich cultural heritage, seeking ultimate Divine blessing. Prasanthi Pilgrimage of Delhi Youth 2012

Select Youth from Delhi, many for the first time, arrived for a four day spiritual retreat to Prasanthi Nilayam on 26 Jan 2012. Apart from visiting the many places of interest, the youth also arranged Blood Donation Camps and attended the Nitya Anaadanam (Daily food distribution to villages around Puttaparthi) Project. Narration of experiences of Youth in Seva Projects from other states and countries and interaction with the state president were also held. The youth also viewed documentaries on Bhagawan’s Mission.

“Australia Dreaming”, Cultural Presentation by Children from Australia

Underlying the diverse Aboriginal beliefs of Australia is the Lore of spiritual Oneness, which has been passed on through stories, songs, dance and art for over 40,000 years. All India Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Group III and Alumni Convention

A convention for the all  India  Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Group III and Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Alumni was held in Prasanthi Nilayam on the 7th and 8th of Jan 2012. Over two thousand Balvikas Children, Alumni and Gurus from across India assembled here for the meet. The programme commenced on 7th morning at 1030hrs at Poornachandra Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Keki Mistry, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Maharashtra. He was accompanied on the stage by Sri S. V. Giri, Sri Sanjay Sahani and Sri Nimish Pandya.  Sri R J Ratnakar was also present at the function. read more »

“Amritputra Swami Vivekananda”, a skit by Youth and Balvikas of Rajasthan

Over 200 devotees from Rajasthan arrived on a three day pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam on 27th Dec 2011. On the final day of their Tirth Yatra, they got the opportunity to perform a drama on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda in Sai Kulwant Hall. The drama started with the depiction of the spiritual inclination of Narendranath Dutta from his early childhood and progressed through the intense inquiry of his adolescence and his spiritual maturity at the feet of his master, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa. read more »

Odisha Parthi Yatra, a journey of Love and Gratitude

Around two thousand Youth and a large number of devotees from the state of Odisha, arrived on a three day pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam on 26th Dec 2011. Nagar Sankirtan, Service activities and Spiritual talks were held everyday.

On the morning of 27th, Lord Jagannath of Puri along with His brother Balabhadra and sister Subadra, (Lord Krishna, Balarama and Subadra) came out in a regal procession this morning, adorning a huge chariot, blessing thousands of devotees in Puttaparthi, outside the Ashram. read more »
