How uniquely He brings devotees unto Him!

A God-fearing and service minded person, who would not spend time in prayers and was hesitant about accepting Bhagawan’s Divinity saying, ‘i will not fall at anybody’s feet; Sai Baba is probably a great man and mystic, but i do not believe…..’ was brought unto His Feet in His most unique and inimitable style. Read on the story of Sri Kuppam Radhakrishna’s entry into ‘Sai-fold’ along with his family. An account from Amarendra Kumar, from the book Modern Miracles. read more »

The Burden Of The Badge…

In 1965, the year which saw the 40th Birthday celebrations of the Advent of the Sai Avatar, the small township of Prasanthi Nilayam was teeming with pilgrims. The Sevadal volunteers, as always, had a huge role to play to ensure that all the celebrations are conducted with ease and efficiency. And Swami in that year personally gave the volunteer badges to every chosen member. Not only this, He also delivered two exclusive discourses to guide these inspired men and women so that they tread on this sacred path of service in the right manner. Here are excerpts from those two divine discourses, one of which was delivered in the month of February and the other in November. read more »

Dil Without Bill…

‘Love All, Serve All’… ‘Help Ever, Hurt Never…’ Words that appear so simple, but like innumerable other messages of Bhagawan, they have a profound meaning and a deep impact on the lives of His devotees. Following the example He has set with His life – of reaching out to whosoever is in need of help – the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation is immersed in constant service activities vis-à-vis – Mother & Child Care, Mobile Medical Service, Education In Human Values, Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas and many other such related undertakings. The ultimate purpose of working towards this upliftment of mankind and that of all other beings is linked with transformation – that of our hearts, our souls, our lives. Taking a step forward in this direction, the SSSSO Maharashtra and Goa has organised a Free Heart Diagnostic Camp, under the banner ‘Dil Without Bill’, recently in the Divine Abode, Dharmakshetra, Mumbai. A Report on the unique initiative. read more »

Global Akhanda Bhajan

“You too must pass your days in song. Let your whole life be a bhajan. Believe that God is everywhere at all times, and derive strength, comfort and joy by singing His Glory in His Presence. Let melody and harmony surge up from your hearts and let all take delight in the Love that you express through that song.” said Bhagawan in an exclusive Divine Discourse delivered on 14th Nov 1976 on the occasion of Global Akhanda Bhajan.  read more »

Sathya Sai Remembers His Kamandala ‘In Shirdi…’

Did Bhagawan in the old days ever describe any episode from the life of Shirdi Sai Baba? Though there are plenty of such references, directly from Bhagawan, throwing light into the Oneness of both the Avatars, sometimes He makes it unique and more interesting, involving some devotees, leaving an eternal impression in ‘His-Story,’ proving the Oneness. read more »

Master The Mind, Be A Mastermind…

Profound aphorisms or mahavakyas given by Bhagawan are not mere combination of words, but tools helping sincere practitioners to introspect, to bring in greater awareness and thus help elevating to higher levels of consciousness. It would be interesting to know the naive perceptions of the ‘little hearts’ from Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, perceptions on some of the most often heard Sai Mahavakyas. Twelve year old N Anirudh writes about Master The Mind, Be A Mastermind. read more »

From Tragedy To Truth…

How often we point a finger at, questioning Him, The Lord, making Him responsible for so called oddities in our lives? Seldom do we understand or fathom Divine intricacies, God’s finite details, that shape the course of our lives. Here is an amazing story of transformation, from being a critic to a disciplined follower of Bhagawan! The story narrates a remarkable instance of a young man who came from Lucknow to attend the Summer Course at Brindavan in 1979. Written by Ajay Pant, extracted from Sanathana Sarathi archivals.
