Sathya Sai Remembers His Kamandala ‘In Shirdi…’

Did Bhagawan in the old days ever describe any episode from the life of Shirdi Sai Baba? Though there are plenty of such references, directly from Bhagawan, throwing light into the Oneness of both the Avatars, sometimes He makes it unique and more interesting, involving some devotees, leaving an eternal impression in ‘His-Story,’ proving the Oneness. read more »

From Tragedy To Truth…

How often we point a finger at, questioning Him, The Lord, making Him responsible for so called oddities in our lives? Seldom do we understand or fathom Divine intricacies, God’s finite details, that shape the course of our lives. Here is an amazing story of transformation, from being a critic to a disciplined follower of Bhagawan! The story narrates a remarkable instance of a young man who came from Lucknow to attend the Summer Course at Brindavan in 1979. Written by Ajay Pant, extracted from Sanathana Sarathi archivals.

Saved by a Photograph…

God, Who verily responds to a sincere prayer seeking His Divine protection, does come to the aid of a devotee, apparently without any direct calling. Call it great good fortune or a gentle tap from the Greater Heaven, bailing him out of an apparent danger, God does it while remaining behind the curtain, projecting His mysterious visiting cards…an interesting episode from Sri KR Vasudevan, formerly Editor, Dinamani Kadir, Chennai. read more »

A fateful hour of my life…

How well are we prepared and ready to take the best of the lessons to ascend to higher realms of spiritual existence? Man, despite knowing the beauty and grandeur of higher exalted states of spiritual existence, often fails to climb up, owing to attachment to the mundane, worldly desires and aspirations. However, our knowing Lord does the cleaning and clearing act, throwing faulty ones back into the red hot coals of spiritual fire, fanning the flames, until we become ‘bangaroos’….written by Challa Appa Rao, from Sanathana Sarathi archivals. read more »

When the Divine Magnet Pulls?!?…

Can man ever stay away from the Mighty Lord, Who Is verily The Divine Magnet That pulls the right one at the right time, unto Him? In fact, No prayer is left unheard and unanswered. “Your belief is not wrong; keep it up!”

However high a bird may soar, it has sooner or later to perch on a tree top, to enjoy quiet. So too a day will come when even the most haughty, the most wilful, the most unbelieving, even those who assert that there is no joy or peace in the contemplation of the Highest Self, will have to pray: “God grant me peace, grant me consolation, strength and joy.”  The experience of B. P. Kombrabail who denounced Bhagawan’s Divinity has a parallel to the above saying of Bhagawan, where Bhagawan Himself showed Him up to prove Who He is and how He had been serving and saving him all along. Radha Bhakti…

Born in the village Barsana, Radharani epitomised the soul’s unquenchable thirst for the Divine, representing ananyabhakti, infinite devotion, matchless and unconditional. Quite often Bhagawan spoke about His ‘ananya bhakta’ recounting beautiful tales from those wonderful Dwapara days. When the world of ‘Krishna Consciousness’ sings in ecstacy “Radhe Radhe Radhe Barsaane Wali Radhe…” celebrating the appearance of Radharani, let‘s revisit some of those precious recountals of Bhagawan, discoursing on His foremost devotee… read more »

What a crow can teach

When Prasanthi Nilayam becomes a global spiritual workshop, every being coming to this holy land gets the golden opportunity to learn from everything around, from every being around, be it a winged one or an animal or a fellow human. This miniscule world ‘created’ by Beloved Bhagawan has everything in it for humanity to observe, imbibe and practise. One such pilgrim leant a vital lesson during his/her trip to Prasanthi, a lesson learnt by observing a ‘crow act’, sitting in the precincts of hallowed Prasanthi Nilayam. Extracted from Sanathana Sarathi, May 1990. read more »

Sathya Sai About Shirdi Sai…

How Bhagawan Shirdi Sai, Who would often repeat ‘Dattatreya Malik’ and ‘Allah Malik’ once ‘proved’ that He is verily Lord Dattatreya and on another occasion demonstrated the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of man, settling a dispute between Hindu and Muslim devotees, was narrated by Bhagawan in one of His Divine discourses… read more »

Siva and Sivasakthi

God, Who is miraculous by His very nature, reveals glimpses of His glory, off and on, through what humans decipher as miracles. When faith meets with devotion, God acts swiftly, bringing heavenly providence, converting a humanly impossible situation into a possible miracle. How a little 14-year old lad came out unharmed, of cerebral meningitis and paralysis, by sheer blessing of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai. read more »
