Mayur Pankh Narrates Krishna Tales…

Balvikas Children along with Youth from India’s largest state, from the NorthWest, Rajasthan presented a colourful Musical Dance Drama entitled ‘Mayur Pankh’ as part of their Parthi Yatra this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Peacock Feather that has been eternally blessed by Bhagawan Sri Krishna, by being adorned on His head, thus synonymous with Him, came alive presenting rare gems from the Avataric life of Bhagawan Sri Krishna.
Weaving the story quite aesthetically, artistically and colourfully even as the Peacock Feather came forth at intervals narrating wonderful tales from the epochal life, this evening’s assembly sat in sublime silence drinking the nectar of Krishna devotion.
Beginning with Mayur Pankh narrating its fascinating tale, of its association with Bhagawan Krishna, that was hand-picked by Bhagawan to adorn on His head during one of His childhood jungle sojourn, where He was playing with His mates, the story unravelled to a series of interesting Krishna tales. Stories illustrated included Bhagawan coming as a friend of a little school boy who showed his apprehension in crossing the jungle en-route his school, Little Krishna showing Vishwaroopa to Mother Yasodha in His opened mouth, Gopikas wonderful tale of supreme devotion etc.
Continuing with the narration, the Feather also introduced some of the illustrious devotees of Bhagawan Sri Krishna, namely, Thukkaram, Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Aandal and Meera Bai.
The presentation ended with an announcement on the Advent of Bhagawan’s Kali Yuga Avatar as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.
The presentation was interspersed with beautiful dance and song sequences.
Bhajans by the state troupe continued and Mangala Arathi was offered at 1815 hrs.
LASA Band of Sai Youth from Europe comprising of 11 countries from Region 6 & 7 of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations – Overseas would be presenting a band programme entitled Sai Vision tomorrow evening in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme is aimed at promoted Universal Peace and Harmony.
