Gujarati New Year in His Divine OmniPresence…

Post the joyful Deepavali celebrations comes the Gujarati New Year. Celebrating the New Year the Dwaraka – Parthi Yatra group from Gujarat presented a string of offerings this evening in the immediate Divine OmniPresence of Beloved Bhagawan. The session commenced with a brief introductory speech by the State President of SSSSO – Gujarat, Sri Hemant D. Patel. Touching upon the immeasurable blessing of Bhagawan’s many Gujarat visits, the State President in his speech in English – Gujarati mix wished the Gujarati community around the world a ‘Happy New Year’ before winding up with a prayer to bless them with more strength to be efficient instruments in His Hands, taking His message across. Taking the evening assembly to a trip down the golden memory lane of His ‘Gujarat’ Touch Of Grace, Sri Anil Madhavan, a senior devotee from Gujarat, spoke of Bhagawan’s visits interlaced with his personal experiences. Bhagawan had blessed the state immensely with His several Divine visits from 1967 to 1982, blessings many devout pockets of the state. Giving brief yet precise account of His sojourn through the state, the speaker then narrated his parents’ experiences with great clarity and conviction. His narration included his mother’s miraculous survival from dreaded pneumonia at the Hands Of Bhagawan, which in turn transformed his atheist father into a devotee.
Lord Of Dwaraka has been reigning supreme in Prasanthi right from the word go yesterday morning. Flowing on with the session, girl students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketan, Navsari presented a Ras dance next singing and dancing to the tune of ‘Dwarakano Nath’. The final offering for the evening was a musical dance drama presentation by the students of Sri Sathya Sai School, Surat entitled “Leela Lavanya Krishna”, presenting ‘BalaLeela’ episodes from Bhagawan Sri Krishna’s earthly sojourn. Beautiful children, colourful attire, aesthetic dancing, melodic beauty galore, devotion unparalleled, with added beauty of narration by the Lord Of Time, all in a pack of presentation in the Name Of Beloved Krishna, presenting His sublime story on earth. Who could resist the beauty of heart’s emotion, when Krishna meets up with His friend of a life-time, presented most beautifully to the backdrop song of soul-stirring ‘Krishna Sudamane Jodi…???”. Gujarat devotees came with a complete Krishna package, with heart-full of gratitude for Sai Krishna.
