Presenting its second and final offering of the ongoing Madhya Pradesh Parthi Yatra, Balvikas children from the State presented a programme entitled Dastak Swarna Yug Ki this evening at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme was thematic of the golden jubilee year of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas, being observed this year. Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas had its inception in the year 1969 at the ‘direct’ instance and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.
Presented in three segments, the programme today commenced with Sai Shatakam, offering adorations at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet through three dance presentations, a mix of Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Karma Nritya.
Years ago, during Young Little Divine, Sathya had penned an epochal play, Cheppinattu Chestara, meaning ‘Do I Follow What I Speak?’ which was power-packed with the holy intention of reforming the world to the path of Sathya and Dharma. Segment -2 of this evening presentation composed of a few skits of inspirations real-time stories from the administrative lives of some of the Balvikas pass-outs from the State, currently decorating the bureaucracy strictly following His dictum, ‘Work Is Worship; Duty Is God’.
The concluding segment featured the Balvikas Rally Song that was played in Bhagawan’s physical presence in 1975. The song was “Sai Sai Japte Chalo… Bholo Milkar SaiRam…”, an apt culmination for an elevating Parthi Yatra. Over 150 Balvikas children from 11 districts participated in the presentation.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
