International Convention Centre Coming Up…

Keeping up with Prasanthi Nilayam’s continual commitment to devotees from around the world, an International Convention Centre is proposed to be built inside the Prasanthi Nilaym campus, towards the southern end, near the Book Trust building.
Marking the auspicious beginning, Bhoomi Puja and the foundation stone-laying ceremony was performed in His immediate Divine OmniPresence this morning, attended by Senior Trustees and officials from Prasanthi Nilayam. The building is scheduled to be completed in 18 months, well before the landmark 95th Advent Day of Beloved Bhagawan.
There will be two convention halls, a thousand seater and a 300 seater apiece, expected to facilitate groups from India and overseas, aiding in organising programmes, shows, meetings and conventions on spiritual topics. Sri SS Naganand, Trustee, SSSCT briefly outlined the proposed project details. The session that commenced at 0830 hrs. with invocatory Vedic chanting continued for half-an-hour, marked by the rituals, bhajans and Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
