Prema Sagamam – an Alumni Drama With Potent Messages…
Monday, January 2nd, 2017
The Master received the salute and that marked the commencement of the final session of the three-day “Prema Bandhan” involving the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institutions in the new year evening here, in Prasanthi Nilayam. In the evening, the flag-bearers moved in measured steps, doing a regal squad-march unto the Sanctum Sanctorum, finally offering the salute to The Supreme Chancellor Of Eternity, and the stage was now set for the Rhythmic Energy to flow on. The scene was the evening session of the Prasanthi Nilayam’s own New Year celebrations. …And the Alumni Band, Rhythmic Energy was ready for a blast.
The Institute Band that has been the part and parcel of every major celebration in Prasanthi Nilayam has grown leaps and bounds over the years. With loadful of gratitude and love, as the group assorted themselves to converge at the hallowed portals once again last evening, the session that ensued turned out to be a royal musical salutation to the Master Musician. Beginning with the legend of the Alumni Band, that is @ 10 this New Year, the group of over 20 played an assortment of numbers that included a couple of bhajans, regaling the golden opportunity with hearts full of gratitude.
Various offerings were made at the Lotus Feet next, that included activity report, The Bridge Across Time – Audio CD latest volume, New Year Cake, etc.
How distinct and distinguished is His Educational Institution?… Is it not distinctly extraordinaire from the rest in terms of shaping up true ambassadors of cardinal values? This was the message n’ theme of the drama presentation that followed next, titled “Prema Sangamam”.
Set against the Prasanthi Nilayam backdrop, involving students, teachers, the hostel and the institution, and not the least The Master Sculptor Bhagawan HimSelf, the drama in its flow depicted the invaluable character building process involved in the portals, with human values as main tools.
End Of Education Is Character. The series of episodes showed in the next 60 minutes ratified the above maxim, delivering snippets of glimpses of the distinct and distinguished character building at the portals of Sri Sathya Sai University. All the episodes were based on true life experiences with Bhagawan.
Sai Is The Master Sculptor and His legacy flows from generation to generation, echoed the protagonist Prof Marga Darshi, MD Sir for the students, whose inspiring life of absolute faith was adopted for the evening’s thriller.
Lord Krishna donned the role of Master Narrator, Who, along with Arjuna and Uddhava forayed to the centre-stage intermittently, speaking out His Mind and Judgement, presenting the story for the evening.
Indeed, a Master Piece from His ‘master-pieces’ in the New Year day. The presentation averred in Lord’s words that His teachers and students will carry His message forward, in His physical absence. A beautiful theme song of Unbounded Love marked the end of the hour-long presentation.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
