Gratitude galore for Balvikas Gurus…
Saturday, December 28th, 2019
Love and Gratitude form the foundation of Sri Sathya Sai culture. Bhagawan has in no uncertain terms made it crystal clear that ‘human life should become an expression of Love n’ Gratitude’. Taking a cue from the Divine Message, the second morning session of the ongoing Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas Guru’s Conference, AP commenced today on this pristine note, of thanks giving. Presenting a programme, Manideepalu, various Balvikas veterans, who have been serving the mission as ‘gurus’ for decades were felicitated this morning for their commendable service.
Addressing the august assembly on the occasion, Prof. G. Venkama, former Vice Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Medical University, Tirupati and a neurologist by profession, spoke a few words of appreciation and gratitude in Telugu. Deliberating on the telling effect of the movement, speaking with utmost humility and gratitude, Prof. Venkama narrated her personal experience with reference to her own children, who had been Balvikas students, moulded into successful personalities with human values. Balvikas is not any ordinary educational programme, but a system that enhances personal development, with stress on moral values and character building, reiterated the speaker expressing great pride in the Movement set in motion by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.
Prof. V. Sakuntala, State Balvikas Coordinator, then conducted the Oath Taking Ceremony. Entire lot of ‘gurus’ presented followed the pledge, repeating after her.
A musical offering, Sri Sathya Sai Ganamadhuri, followed next, serenading Bhagawan with a garland of devotionals. Jaya Jaya Jayaho Sai Mahesha… Jaya Jaya Jayaho Parthi Pureesha… a number hailing victory to Lord Sai, Sathya Sai Balavikas Rathasaradhulam… Sathya Sai Premajalathi Tarangalamu…, a touching thematic number singing the untold glory of Sri Sathya Sai and His movement heralding the golden age, Sai Charanam Pavanam… Sri Sai Smaranam Pavanam… a number on the essential glory of Sri Sathya Sai, were some of the morning numbers.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
