Celebrating the Festival Of Lights, Deepavali, echoing the beauty of the Advent of the New Year, Gujarati Saal Mubarak, devotees from Gujarat are in Prasanthi Nilayam, celebrating the twin occasion.
Commencing the programme this morning, the State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations – Gujarat, Sri Manohar Trikarnad addressed the august assembly, wishing all Gujaratis present as well from around the world a Holy Deepavali. The State President then presented a brief report on the activities of the SSSSO in the State.
A traditional Navaratri Garba devotional by the Youth Girls from Valsad district singing paeans to Mother Divine was the first offering of the auspicious morning.
Flagging off this year’s celebrations, Sai Youth from Navsari district led by promising music talent Deepak Kansara under the banner ‘Sai Vrind’ then presented a medley of devotionals. The highlight of the presentation was a song entitled, Badley Yug Ki Dhaara…, a composition by Deepak himself. Commencing the session Deepak narrated the birth of the song that happened in just ten minutes in a smooth flow sans any corrections, an explicit indication of Bhagawan’s Grace. The medley was followed by a customised Govind Bolo… a Prasanthi Mandir Bhajan.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
