Feasting the unparalleled privilege of being in His immediate Presence…Proximity, students turned staffers from Bhagawan’s institutions in Puttaparthi, Bengaluru and Muddenahalli have assembled at the Sanctum Sanctorum celebrating ‘Sai Sannidhi Day’ this evening in Prasanthi Nilayam. Sai Sannidhi Day has been a regular feature in the Prasanthi Festive Calendar for past over a decade.
Sri Shyam Sharma, currently faculty member at the Prasanthi Nilayam campus, who had the rare privilege of completing his education from KG to PG and furthermore in Prasanthi Nilayam, set the tone for the evening with his interesting opening remarks. Recollecting priceless memoirs in His immediate Divine Presence, Shyam narrated a beautiful experience with Bhagawan wherein Bhagawan granted him his wish, Dil Ki Ichcha in His language, to continue as a staffer in Prasanthi Nilayam. ’His being with me is irrespective of where i am, but my being with Him is a choice i have to make, said the speaker highlighting the binding factor, as to how the ‘two’, Swami’s Promise and Our Desire to stay back, bond to make it possible for one to stay back in His immediate Divine Proximity. For Your Promise of Love and Care, we only pray to make us, entire Sai Sannidhi, worthy of it, concluded Shyam on a grateful note.
The session that ensued turned out live with grateful hearts sharing beautiful anecdotes of ‘His Touch Of Love And Grace’, interspersed with melodic beauties. Inspirational Sai Tales for the evening ranged from how Swami’s Lifting Hands made someone lacking musical basics a regular bhajan singer, to…how often tests become His tastes, and how Bhagawan threw a choice between Him and desired science stream to a boy who finally landed in commerce stream to continue, pursuing his Phd, to…how a giant leap of faith helped someone saving a seat in Swami’s college, to… Swami’s million dollar question, ‘What Do U Want’…a most priceless memory for a primary school student, to… cancelling of cancer in response to a fervent prayer, in His own inimitable style.
Beautiful narrations had interspersing melodic beauties, setting the house rocking with voice of love and gratitude, welling from hearts many. Songs for the evening were Namo Sathya Sai Baba…, Entha Mahima… Entha Mahima…, Tera Pyar Pakar…, Karunasagara…, Ninne Nera Namminarura O Rama… a carnatic number, Oh When The Darkness Is Falling Away… to the final song, a rollicking qawwali, singing Kon Hey Woh…
An inspiring evening echoing love and gratitude from collective hearts.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
