Volunteer Felicitation at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini…

Hundreds of active volunteers were felicitated for their outstanding, multifarious participation and contribution towards the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Programme in a special function held this morning, at the Sai Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam. These volunteers, coming from pan India basis, are selected by a special expert panel, after thorough scrutiny and evaluation of the work accomplished by each individual.
Organised in two phases, supplemented by a dance intermission, the presentation ceremony was chaired by Prof Madhu Kapani, Principal, SSSIHL, Anantapur Campus and Prof Vishwanath Pandit, formerly Vice Chancellor of SSSIHL, for ladies and gents respectively, who graciously accepted the honor of conferring the special winners.
Complementing the session with richness of colour, grace and devotion, two dance programmes followed as insertions, by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Nursery and Primary School, Ambattur, Tamil Nadu and Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Barripada, Odisha presenting ‘Aigiri Nandini’ and ‘Jaya Jaya Deva Hare…’ respectively.
A scintillating ‘Grabha Dance’ by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketan, Navsari, Gujarat next was followed by bhajans and Mangala Arathi.
Today is the 4th and final day of the ongoing Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini celebrations.
Earlier, the session commenced at 0820 hrs with an address by Sri Sathyajit, Project Lead from Prasanthi Nilayam, briefing the session.
More than 300 students from 15 Vidya Vahini Schools will be offering a Musical Dance Drama entitled ‘Bhagavat Vani Bhagavat Vahini’ this evening at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet.
