Wednesday, November 18th, 2015
Over 200 beating hearts from the Balvikas fraternity across India joined together presenting an enactment of the Divine Elixir called Sathyam Sivam Sundaram, the hagiography of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, this evening in Prasanthi Nilayam.
The Dance Theatrical Presentation entitled “Sri Sathya Sai Satcharitra”, as the title suggests, was a Musical Dance Drama offering on the illustrious Life and Teachings of Bhagawan, presented in 5 acts.
Browsing through His Story from the days of Immaculate Conception of the blessed Mother Easwaramma, the presentation ‘danced through’ the next 60 minutes covering various facets of the illustrious earthly sojourn of the ‘Supreme Godhood’, namely, His Birth, Childhood, Love Incarnate, Glory Unbounded, Teachings, Service Mission, etc.
Multimedia presentation coupled with intermittent narration spiced up the theatrical offering, with the graceful children dancing through the session with great élan, retelling His Story in His immediate Divine Presence.
The presentation ended with a prayerful ‘collective’ supplication that their lives be touched by His Love, to live His Message. A mesmerizingly alluring theme song, “Prema Avatari… Sathyam Dharmam Prema Avatari…” continued to ring in the spacious hall, and in the many hearts assembled in the twinkling Prasanthi twilight.
Disciplined, loving children sat in silent prayers, brimming with hearts full of pure love.
Directed by Smt Kritika Subramaniam, the presentation by Pan India Balvikas made a sincere attempt to recreate His Story through dance and music. Songs were composed by Sri Rajkumar Bharati and music by Sri Sai Shravan, both from Chennai.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi 1915 hrs.
